Sushi without Sushi

The mediterranean Tunafish supply is dangerously declining, after what scientists estimate to be 3'000 years of living in plentiful and healthy levels. I'm confident that Kuwait has contributed to this increased demand for sushi. Especially with all those Maki, Wasabi and other sushi outlets springing about.

This craze with Sushi that's taken over Kuwait some time ago was a shock to me. I remember when there was only one sushi outlet in Kuwait, Sakura, in the Crowne Plaza - Farwaniya. It was the best (and only) Japanese Restaurant in town, and you would only find those select few that really enjoy sushi, and not just have it because it's the 'in' thing to do!

Fast-forward to today, "Do-It-Yourself" Maki?? Fine, it may be tasty...but it's like having Pasta Carbonara with Turkey bits instead of Ham!
