"All Hail The Chief"
I said it before, and I'll say it again: This is one gutsy woman!
Mrs. Nouria Al Sabeeh has passed the 'no confidence' move with a 27-vote majority, compared to a 19-vote asking for her dismissal, with two abstentions!
The Newspapers called her the "Iron Lady" today, I prefer to call her "The first Lady of Kuwait". And why not? She's a veteran of 30 years in Education, a mother, a Wife, a Teacher and a Liberal stateswoman. Although she is openly 'segregation', she has implemented the laws pertaining to the separation of sexes within the universities. Not only has she passed the vote, but has also proved to the world that what counts is sticking to the righteous path of the Law, both those of God and those of Man, and whoever adheres to them will be blessed with the love and respect of the masses.
She has upheld the law whenever and wherever possible. She has done more during her 9-months in office than any other Education minister. And she did that without breaking any laws, aside from a few broken dreams
She has renewed my faith-at least-in my government's capabilities. I am proud to have someone like Nouria Al Sabeeh in my government! She has proved that work ethics and honesty are more worthy to uphold than the satisfaction of political blocs.
One final note, let us not forget Kuwait's first-ever woman minister, Masouma Al Mubarak, who left the political scene well before her time, but thanks to the same people who tried to kick Mrs. Nouria out of office, we may see her again.

Salaam 'Alaykum -
How has she stuck to the righteous path of God's Law? What exactly do you mean? Certainly, the Sharee'ah is the Law of Allaah, so has she promoted it? Ruled by it? She even turned down the wearing of the hijaab, and indeed this is an obligation upon women that is from the Sharee'ah. Let us be careful when choosing our words. Salaam 'Alaykum.
